Philip Wride

AI Strategist. Author. Creator of the 12 Chains Framework.

Where the framework came from

In January 2020, Philip broke his neck playing rugby.

While he was recovering, his business still needed to run. But he could not be in it. He could not answer questions, make decisions, or hold the relationships that the business depended on him holding. The dependency he had built into his business over years — most of it invisible until that point — suddenly became very visible.

So he rebuilt it. Not out of ambition, but out of necessity. Systems that captured his thinking. Processes that ran without him being the answer. AI tools — still early then — that could carry work forward while he could not. By the time he recovered, he had a business that ran differently. And he had a name for the problem he had just solved.

He called the dependencies chains. Not because they are deliberate, but because they accumulate quietly and hold you without you noticing — until something forces you to notice.

He identified twelve of them. Documented them. Built a diagnostic to find them. And published the framework in his book, Finally Find Freedom.

Background

Philip has been an entrepreneur since the age of sixteen. Over more than twenty years he has worked across startups and enterprise businesses in technology, building and scaling operations on both sides of the table — as a founder and as someone brought in to run things.

Originally from the UK, he is now based in Dubai, where he builds AI systems that remove owner dependencies for himself and for clients. The methodology is the same whether the business is three people or three hundred: identify the chains, remove the binding constraint, and build the systems that replace the dependency.

He uses everything he teaches daily. The business you are interacting with right now runs on the same systems.

The work

The Book

Finally Find Freedom

The book where the 12 Chains framework is published in full — what each chain is, how it forms, what it costs you in a sale, and how to start removing it.

The Accelerator

The Optional Founder Accelerator

A 12-month implementation programme. Philip works directly with a small cohort to identify their specific chains and build the AI systems that remove them. One cohort per year, five places.

Where to start

The diagnostic takes ten minutes and costs nothing. It tells you which of your chains are most active right now — and where to start.
